Harvest Asparagus

If your asparagus is mature and well established, having been planted for 2 or more years, you have a 6-8-week window of opportunity to harvest. Cut spears that are less than 10" in length from the base of the plant. Do this until spear size decreases, leaving the remaining to nourish the root system for next year’s harvest.
